Topic: Robotic Automation: Your Path to Survival

Maintaining the status quo is not an option for manufacturers who struggle to secure quality labor. Join us to learn how robotic systems enable manufacturers to deliver higher quality parts and maximize throughput, all while keeping their workforce numbers consistent and employees safe.

Presenters:

Thomas "Hoz" Tanner is a Regional Automation Manager for Acieta. He is responsible for working closely with customers to identify robotic solutions that keep companies growing in an increasingly competitive market. Tanner has a degree in Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering from Miami University. With a career background in engineering and a life-long love of all things mechanical, Tanner takes a special approach to working with customers because he has in-depth understanding of the technical aspects of manufacturing and robotics.

Steve Apel is a Regional Automation Manager for Acieta. In this role, he helps solve customer challenges through the adoption of new robotic automation technologies. Apel has years of work experience in metal fabrication as an operator in a variety of machine shop functions, including press brakes and welding. From a young age, he grew up in metalworking by building race cars with his father, and later becoming a stock car driver who competes throughout the Midwest. Apel’s life-long first-hand experience in fabrication gives him a special understanding of the real nature of machine shop technology and automation.
