Steve Apel is a regional automation manager for Acieta. In this role, he helps solve customer challenges through the adoption of new robotic automation technologies. Apel has years of work experience in metal fabrication as an operator in a variety of machine shop functions, including press brakes and welding. From a young age, he grew up in metalworking by building race cars with his father, and later becoming a stock car driver who competes throughout the Midwest.
