Virtually all the activities take place in one or another committee. Typically, members become part of a committee by mentioning an interest to the committee chair, usually at the regular monthly meetings. Click on a committee title for more information.

• Nominating Committee - solicits candidates wishing to run for a director position
• Membership Committee - actively seeks new members in Wisconsin
• Events Committee
• Entertainment Committees - focuses on a particular social event: June Outing, Post Holiday Party, and Winter Retreat
• Apprenticeship Committee - maintains contact with the Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development, Bureau of Apprenticeship Standards, and the Wisconsin Technical College System
• Insurance Committee - acts as liaison between Insurance Partner and members
• Program Committee - identifies speakers for monthly member meetings and plans the Summer Outing
• Legislative Committee - focuses on issues affecting our industry in the State of Wisconsin legislature
• Budget Committee - compiles annual TDMAW budget
• Group Buying Committee - locates Buying Partners for the TDMAW with guidance from member surveys
• Promotions Committee - promotes awareness of the long-term rewards of a career in the Precision Metalworking Industry
• Scholarship Committee - scholarships are restricted to students seeking a career in the Precision Metalworking Industry at Wisconsin technical colleges
• Ad Hoc Committees - one purpose only committees put into place to accomplish a specific goal
